This is my first Daring Bakers challenge....and I'm late. But I did it. I kept putting it off then thanksgiving came and I ummm kinda forgot hehe. I made one large loaf and a bunch of minis.
The only problem I really had was trying to knead the dough. It was just so sticky.

The Blob!
This dough was very very sticky. It just kept spreading across my counter. I think it ate my microwave, a few candles and I think my dog is missing.
Ready for the second rise.
Fresh out of the oven.
Ready for me to eat.

those mini loaves are so cute!
i went with a foccacia as shaping the very sticky dough wasn't looking like fun - maybe try that if you do it again?
Wonderful job on your first challenge!!
Congratulations on your first challenge! Your breads all look delicious! I'm sorry about your dog. Mine hid under the bed until my dough stopped howling back at her.

Hahaha! The blob! I love that :)
You should've tried a foccacia. I think everyone who made foccacia or flatbreads love it. I totally bombed my loaf for some reason but I love the how my foccacia turned out! Great job, by the way! My loaf didn't look too edible.
Way to complete your first challenge! Bread looks great!
I didn't realize until I just looked at the map....I was in your neck of the woods for Thanksgiving. My family lives about 45 minutes from Johnson City. Anyway....congrats on your first DB challenge!
Congratulations on a successful first challenge. I hope you found the dog! :O
